Ever been stuck at work, poorly, on holiday and not had anyone you trust to help look after your horse(s)? Can't get back in time for your Farrier, or Vet calling and had no one to call upon....... then let me be Your Helping Hands.
I love horses, I love being around them, working with them and helping others that own horses. So it made sense to offer owners a helping hand with their horses; whether its providing holiday or sickness cover, one off appointment visits, or regular help on a daily, weekly, monthly basis.
Cheshire Horse Sitting Service is just such a service that I provide to horse owners; and I am happy mucking out, rugging up, feeding, grooming, picking out feet, security checks on premises, vet and farrier visits, key holder.
Some of my clients use my services when they are stuck at work, or on holiday, off ill; or simply unavailable for one reason or another.
Owning an all terrain vehicle (an ex MOD Land Rover), winter weather is never a problem. Last winter, clients contacted me asking me to pick up feeds, sawdust and hay and deliver them to their yard, attend their yard because they were snowed in; I even attended to pull cars out of the yards when the cars were snowed in; or collect horse owners take them to their yards, and then bring them home, because of the bad weather.

Clients have used me for extended periods of time, due to unforeseen circumstances, and I pride myself on providing an honest, reliable, and professional service; where the welfare of your horse is paramount.
Cheshire Horse Sitting Service provides help with:-
Mucking Out
Includes – Removal of all soiled bedding from stable and where necessary add fresh bedding. The bed can be left up or bedded down as required.
Skipping Out/ Bedding Down
Includes – Removal of droppings only/Includes – Laying an already mucked out bed, ready for a horse to be stabled on.
Feeding
Includes – Cleaning feed buckets, mixing feeds and feeding to horse/pony as instructed.
Hay Nets
Includes – Filling and hanging of all requested/necessary hay nets.
Waters Buckets
Includes – Water buckets/drinkers emptied, cleaned and refilled.
Rug Changes
Includes – All requested rug changes to be made at times of visits.
Turning Out/Bringing In
Includes – Taking a horse/pony from a stable to field/Taking horse/pony from field to stable..
Grooming
Includes – A full 20 minute groom to remove excess mud or dirt from coat, mane and tail. Hoofs pick and oiled. Should you require more for your horse/pony this can be arranged on an individual basis
Field Checks
Includes – Checking horse/pony at grass, filling of field water buckets/troughs, hay and feeding of horse/pony and any rug changes required.
Field Waters
Includes – Checking and filling of all requested field troughs.
Farrier / Vet / Dentist visits
Includes – Attendance for visits and handling of horse/pony and advising you of the outcome.
Cheshire Horse Sitting Service is based on an hourly rate of £20.00 per hour

Cheshire Horse Sitting Service is based on an hourly rate of £20.00 per hour; and I cover a 15 mile radius from CW8 postcode which will include the following areas:-
Hartford, Northwich, Antrobus, Comberbach, Frodsham, Cotebrook, Little Leigh,
Tarvin, Tarporley; Kelsall, Helsby, Lostock Gralam, Lostock Green to name just a few.
Travel Expenses - outside of the 15 mile radius, but within the Cheshire Circuit a contribution towards fuel will be asked for of £0.20 per mile.
